One Bowl Beer Bread

3 cups all-purpose flour

3 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon kosher salt

1 (12-ounce) bottle lager beer

3 tablespoons honey

3 tablespoons vegetable oil

Optional”:” 1 jalapeño, seeds removed, finely diced, 3 tablespoons sharp cheddar cheese
Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).

Line a 9x5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.

Spray with nonstick spray.

Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt together in a large bowl.

Add beer, honey, and oil; stir until fully combined. Stir in the jalapeño and cheddar, if using.

Pour batter into loaf pan.

Bake until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean from the center, 50 to 60 minutes.

Let cool in pan for 15 minutes.

Slice and serve warm. Store bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days.
